This research deals with the sociological analysis of social themes in Anvari Abiwardi's pieces based on Pierre Bourdieu's "theory of action". In this framework, poetry is not considered an aesthetic reflection, but a critique of society and an action to analyze unjust power structures in the literary-political field of the sixth century and under the influence of the authoritarianism of the Seljuk period. The article focuses on the interaction of the three concepts of field (the field of influence and competition), character (Anvari's unconscious tendencies), and action (strategies such as praise, satire, glory, and declaration of virtue) to show how Anvari's poems reflect his critical view of inequalities and how this criticism is carried out in order to maintain his social position and influence power networks. The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on the qualitative content analysis of Anvari's pieces in connection with the historical context of his era. The findings show that Anvari's Divan, beyond a literary work, is a mirror of social criticism and a sociological document that, by examining the poet's actions in various fields, reveals the mechanisms of influence, resistance, and cultural exchange in the Seljuk period. This study, by linking Bourdieu's theory and classical Persian texts, contributes to the development of the sociology of literature in Iranian studies
