: Intertextuality is one of the most significant concepts in contemporary literary criticism. According to this theory, every text is produced under the influence of prior texts, and no text is created in isolation or by mere coincidence. The Holy Qur’an is among the primary sources that has consistently attracted particular attention in the literary productions of Persian-speaking communities, and its influence is discernible in a wide range of Persian literary works. Among contemporary poets proficient in Arabic who have drawn upon various forms of Qur’anic intertextuality in their Persian poetry is Adīb Pīshāwarī. An examination of the modes of Qur’anic intertextual relations in Adīb Pīshāwarī’s Persian poems is essential for attaining a more precise understanding of his poetic discourse and for revealing the profound interconnectedness between Persian and Arabic literary traditions. This study, conducted through a descriptive–analytical methodology, seeks to investigate the forms of Adīb Pīshāwarī’s engagement with the Holy Qur’an based on the theory of intertextuality. The findings demonstrate that he employs Qur’anic lexicon, concepts, characters, and narratives through three principal modes of intertextual interaction: iteration (ijtirār), absorption (imtiṣāṣ), and dialogue (ḥiwār). Among these, intertextual references to Qur’anic characters and narratives, as well as the mode of iteration, constitute the most frequently utilized forms.
