Objective: Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad known as " Rumi " is an influential figure in Iranic-Islamic civilization. This great thinker has been increasingly in the spotlight in the contemporary era, and the East and the West have become fascinated by the human and Islamic. The alienated man of the modern era is very thirsty for the divine and human teachings of Rumi. Many efforts have been made by thinkers and writers to spread the teachings of the Rumi in the world. One of the effective methods in this regard is the retelling of Rumi thoughts in novels, which has grown significantly, especially in Turkey in recent decades. novelists inspired by Rumi and his thoughts, have created novels whose lines are a manifestation of Rumi's sublime thoughts. In this article, the novel " Rumi'nin Bildiği Aşk" by Serdar Özkan, is the subject of research, and the intertwining of this book with Rumi's thoughts is revealed by studying it.
Method: In this research, Rumi's thoughts recounted in this novel have been studied and analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method.
Results: The results of the present study show that this novel is a retelling of Rumi's thoughts in a language suitable for today's humanity.
Conclusions: The present study shows the influence of world culture on the thoughts of Rumi. In this context, Ozkan's work”Rumi'nin Bildiği Aşk” is a manifestation of the world's love and interest in Iranian-Islamic culture, and the divine and human ideas and thoughts of Mevlana are clearly present in this work.
