This study examines a comparative study of the Indian Style in Persian poetry and the Metaphysical poetry movement in seventeenth-century English literature. The primary objective is to discover parallel convergences between two literary movements that, despite geographical distance and lack of direct contact, demonstrate remarkably shared characteristics. The research methodology is based on a descriptive-analytical comparative approach that, utilizing the theoretical framework of comparative literature and textual analysis, examines the theoretical foundations, historical contexts, and principal features of both styles. The research findings indicate that both movements, in response to the exhaustion of previous literary traditions and the scientific, religious, and social transformations of their era, arrived at similar solutions. The most significant commonalities include: emphasis on novel and estranged meaning-making, extensive use of paradox as an epistemological tool, employment of artistic hyperbole to expand perceptual boundaries, and Baroque characteristics, including structural complexity and dramatic contrasts. Furthermore, both styles emerged within similar contexts of scientific revolution, religious transformations, and social changes. This study, while confirming the theory of parallel convergence in comparative literature, extends the concept of literary modernity beyond Western boundaries and offers a new paradigm for East-West comparative studies.
